Need HELP with JDM Fog cutouts.

Looking for someone in the tri-state area who has DIY'd a couple of bumpers for fellow cb7tuners and willing to help another. Will pay for job done. Will need to bring tools along.

I just did a set over the weekend. Really not hard at all, just follow the lines on the back of the bumper and take your time.

          You need:

Dremel with a rotary cutting bit and a sanding barrel.

          That's all i used.

And then edge the cutout with door edge molding.

If you were closer I would def. help you out, but here's my advice. I would not use a dremel or anything of that type, you have way more control doing it by hand. Buy a keyhole saw, it uses a very fine blade, almost like a band-saw blade, that will allow you to cut the arcs in the pattern. That won't run you too much either, yes, it will be slow, but it will come out very accurate.

It also helps to remove the bumper support from the bumper cover, it gives you alot more space.

            Good luck!

Wow. I guess I did it the quick and dirty way.

I didn't even remove the bumper core.

But Granite gives a very good method. Do it up.
