    History
Every Year since 2013 I have looked forward making the trek down to SoCal to attend the Summer Collective. The First year was awesome. With just a good group from the forum ( about 8 ), we headed down south early on the day of the event. Met up with the bakersfield crew on I5. Then with barely enough time to hit up a car wash, we arrived a the event with little to no time to spare.

The best moments were when we made pit stops and everyone just hung out and talked to each other. Those moments were cut short by the realization that we had to make roll in times. Well screw that!!! with the intention of enjoying those moments and not having to be in such a rush, the Caravan was moved to the Friday before the event last year and that's how it will remain again this year.

Nooo. That's one of the reasons for heading down a day early. The first time we caravanned, there were some streaches where we were doing 100 plus. We mostly did that to make up time. I noticed that we lost a lot of time during pit stops due everyone having a good time and talking. In order to not rush everyone during those times I moved it to the day before last year and it worked out great. Those times where everyone is standing around with a big smile on their faces I think made a huge difference in the entire trip as a whole. Eliminating the pressure of heading out the morning of the meet and trying to make roll in times is off. There might be a pulls here n there, but not big streaches with you foot pegged to the floor.

Carlos, myself & a couple friends might end up going Friday afternoon. It would have been nice to caravan together but some of us have to work Friday.

I understand Moi. We all took Friday off to go down to SoCal and enjoy the day. We'll probably be in SoCal around noon.

              YES another year of CAM!
I have seen our caravan grow over the years which is awesome. I am bringing out my best CB to date I have deffently put a lot more sweat blood and tears into this one than either of my old ones. and I am so excited to show her off. I have missed the nor cal meets this year so far so really this is her first show I know it was to keep up time but I really don't want to do the 100 mph pulls. I know I need to finish up a few things and re balance my tires but I have full faith in her.

I can't wait to roll with you all, again I will meet you at the rest stop. I have a GoPro to use maybe a diffrent angle of the cars? IDK know I will do something with it ha ha
