I'm pretty sure that cutting the plate is very illegal.
I drive the Sileighty frequently, but I do not own it. Marc, the owner of the GT-R, owns it. It is his daily driver, when he is not daily-ing the GT-R. The GT-R does better in the rain.
I have spent about $5000 on it, wrecked it into a guard rail, done quite a bit of wrenching on it, etc. It is not mine, but it is my baby. I spent the money wisely I think, I couldn't have put the car together for 15k and I want an S14 anyways. I am impatient, but I know I can't buy one until I can really afford to with no loans. 8 months, and I will pick one up, put an S14 SR into it, and do a bunch of chassis stiffening and suspension mods straight away, with no loans. I'm going to be out to sea for most of that time anyways so its not like I could be driving it until next spring, really. I have the S13 to drive all summer.
I daily drive a 1994 Geo Metro.
It gets 50+ miles to the gallon. It is extremely slow. It handles very poorly. I love it, and will drive it until it dies.
Sorry that my head is cut off. I am wearing the blue work shirt and orange shoes in all the Baker pics.
