my quading accident

me and joekt, and our buddy rt were quading and i went to fast around a turn and weird thing is i was drifting corners all day but as you'll see in the pics, i didnt try to drift out of it, i was in fifth gear hauling ass and well you'lll see what happened

luckly the tree stoped me, if not i wouldve went like another 50 or so feet more


after we fliped it


we hooked some strapes to it and pulled it out with another quad


when we finally got it out


me thinking about how much of a idiot i was


after we pulled it out we took a smoke break


and then we went backed filled up the quads and went for round two


the only thing that really broke was the clutch handle bracket, thats all, oh and you'll also notice that handles were pushed down but we fixed that easily and later ill add a pic of my sweater i was wearing, cause now there is a huge hole in it,

nothing except a lot of brusies and cuts thats about it, i got a bruise on my head(yes i was wearing a helmet), four on my right leg, two on my sides, one on my belly, then i have two small cuts on my right leg, three on my left arm, three on my stomach, and one on my left leg, but all in all, i still had a blast.

oh and you forgot to mention that it was your second time ever on a quad. and this was about five minutes after learning a lesson about following too closely by stopping literally on top of the quad i was riding. dumbass i think you need to go buy yourself a little 90. then maybe you wond kill yourself.

What kind of Yamahas be those? Raptor? Banshee?

You should call Yamaha and tell them their product contributed to an accident and you would like the damages repaired at no cost to you.

the one that i want over the edge with is joekt and its a warrior, and dont rember what the other ones are except that that the other blue one is a race quad

I did somthing like this when I used to ride motorcycles only it was off a cliff with nothing but sticker bushes to slow me down,lol. Good thing ur ok and the quad doesn't look too bad either.

yeah i know it was weird thou, that only the clutch really broke, quads, there pretty tuff. . . how did ya go about plunging of a cliff, excspecaily on a bike thats gotta be scary shit

haha, ya it was when I was pretty little on my kx65. On switch-backs I just kinda went straight instead of turning for some reason,lol. It was a long way down though. I climbed back up and we got a guy with a quad with a wench to pull the bike up. The bike was perfectly fine too,lol. I think in most cases you get hurt worse than the bike/quad.

the ugly one is mine '03 350 warrior the white one is an '07 350 raptor and the other blue one is an '06 yfz 450

yeah the guy who had mine previously put alot of money into it we keep finding aftermarket parts that are extra beefy. not to mention the obvious stuff but it'll take a beating. i just have to buy a new clutch handle and bracket oh and the push bumper got bent a little but its not really noticable so who cares.
