I thought the 40 sidewall would be smaller. The local tireshop here had 205/40/17 kumho ecsta on sale for 63 bucks each after I sold the advans.

I've always ran 215-40-17's and i think i could've ran this same size if i messed with my camber in the rear.. But For the price ill live with the 205's, because Tires can get expensive..

speaking of tires i might be needing some soon but before i buy some im have my rims repolished and have all the curb rashes removed then ill get some tires im thinking of getting 215/40/17 but i just dont know what brand of tires to go with?

That is where I go to get most of my tires since they offer a great price, and just so you know this is the same company as america's tire or discount tire. To get the best price you have to order through them because since we live in cali there is no tax charge because we are out of state, and they offer free shipping now. If you order the tires online then just find a small tire shop to install them for cheap, and if the tire you want is in stock at the Nevada warehouse you'll get it in a few days. When tire demand goes up they take away the shipping promotion, so enjoy it while it last.

You can go into the store and have them price match themselves, but you'll get charged tax on the sale, and the price of the total sale goes up. If you do this though make sure they have the tire in stock first because if they don't they'll just order it from dtd and make you wait.

Another good source is a local cb7tuner that goes by EFboy if you're looking for falken ziex512 and azenis. He also has a pretty big thread on h-t for selling tires.

I don't know if they still do, but JLB motorsports in corona use to offer great prices on 205/50/15 falken azenis rt615.
