cut open a huge oem muffler and put a cat inside :P Pea shooter muffler you can hardly see anything through the tip. If you cut on the the top of the muffler that rests against the chassis it might be unnoticeable.

Here are the numbers that are high. I took the car on a 20 minute freeway run before I went to the Ref. Ran through all the gears, VTEC'd a lot really gave it my all here. Got to the ref, left the car running... made it on time 7:50AM turned it off and it sat for 10 mins. time of actual test was 7:59AM.



This shows the repair suggestion. The 392-5 No Good is the AEM Intake for Accord.



This pic he gave me cause he could not find the items circled. He suggested that I install these items on the same side as the diagram, so its easier for him to identify... lol.

All in all I knew I wasnt going to pass, but wanted to get a good idea of where I needed work. I get a free retest so I'll do a little more research, fix the items I can and go from there.

This test only cost $30 bucks.

I'll look for a stock intake and install that.
I'll label all the emission control systems he could not find so its easier next time for him to identify.
02 sensor is new OEM honda unit.
Cat is old with 196K on it
Jesus did the EGR & port cleanse before the motor was installed.

thanks paul. those number are high i guess but i'm sure with everyone's help here we can BAR your car straight. BTW you will need an EX intake since it has all the crap where hose 8 goes. DX/LX stock intakes don't have that. i know since i need to install those parts on my stock LX intake.

Ew crap Paul. Well I can tell you right now that installing all that garbage in the circle on the diagram isn't going to do anything for the smog results. Stupid Ref's
That egr stuff on the right, you already have it installed in the accord black box. WTH. Ofcource, maybe it isn't functioning as required though, but I would check there first. You should bring your car to Jesus, he will figure it out for sure

Rsx muffler is about the same size cannister as a cb7 LX/DX pea shooter muffler, look at all that space!



Check out that inlet, perfect for welding a nice cat too :P Unsure how much of an effect another converter will do but eh.

New with my car:
-PIAA h3c yellow bulbs; 50/50 on these going to see how they look at night
-Car didnt start, corroded battery terminal. Hacked away at that 0 gauge with some tiny wire cutters and installed a new terminal after walking 15mins to Kragen for one.
-awaiting something for the front end...

Paul sorry to hear about your troubles man. the ref brought up a lot of bs regarding the sensors.

anyway the key to passing in your situation is definately retarding timing, and replacin your cat converter. hit me up if you wanna swing by and i can take a look at it.

Just installed my ACT Heavy Duty clutch with Modified Street disc and ACT Prolite flywheel. I love them!

My car's been in the dumps due to a lot of personal problems but a trip to the junk yard today fixed that. lol. Well not completely. I did get all of this for $15:

- Complete intake
- Lighting Relay
- Corner light w/ bulb and connections

Now I can pass the smog check and drive at night without the fear of my lights turning off, haha.
