What up guys... been trying to get my ludes fully polished before the 30th of aug. trying to gut my interior for cleaning, gotta take of the bumper for a re-alignment of my fogs and right headlight. have to rewrap my rear speaker tray since i did a 3rd brake light delete...been lazy as hell and really dont have any shade so i can work on this. its a bit......

Thanks Craig. With the way gas prices are going, I ditched the plan of getting a Silverado and decided to keep my baby. 'Til the wheels fall off!!

I wish I had a sound system but when I look at the prices of amps and good head units it's like

new with my car:

Finally put some ES front polyurethane inserts. Took me a while to get them in there, tried to take out the whole dog bone but i had no room for leverage since the ratchet i had wasnt long enough.

All in all, it was a good $18 bucks spent, my shift shock has been lessened and that's all I wanted out of it. Idle has its vibrations but I'll get used to it.

All in all, it was a good $18 bucks spent, my shift shock has been lessened and that's all I wanted out of it. Idle has its vibrations but I'll get used to it.

With a breaker bar, 5minutes

Without a breaker bar..20-30mins. Takes longer because if you dont have a breaker bar you wont be able to get that lower nut off, so you'll have to settle for using brute force to shove the inserts in that tight spot.

I had a hard time getting the 2nd insert in until i managed to somehow get it in there.

Only down fall is I cant get those big rubber washers that go between the mount and the insert. So right now the mount has full contact with the insert. It might melt, but I'm going to fab something up, maybe some sheet metal.

Since I'm Automatic I had no option but to buy the manual one as ES doesnt make one for the auto. People say the mount is different but they slid right in. Maybe the reason why I cant fit the big rubber washers in is because the manual has more room?

you just gotta keep looking around for good bargains. i got mine brand new for 120 bucks flat. i saw one on ebay for 115, but i dont want to deal with shipping it back bs if it comes faulty.

rockford amp kit 30 dollars (a 99 dollar value in best buy...gotta love homies that work there)
amp 120 bills (i had another one i bought for 50 bucks but i shorted it due to my dumbass)
sub and box(free, because my friend is leaving the country for 2 years and he doesnt need it)

my deck is whats expensive and when i sell it its not gonna be worth near as much as i paid for it. but when christmas comes along im gettin my kenwood dnx 8120 baby!!!
