yeah man. this goes for both tie rod and knuckle. just remove the old boot and clip, clean the crap outta the joint, slap some grease onto the joint like a volcano, then put the boot over the grease/joint. then with a needle nose put the circular clip in the middle where the pivot is, open the plier and put over the boot/joint from the top (imagine your girl's legs split on top of you while your balljoint... ), then push the cir-clip downwards until it sits on the groove at the bottom of the boot to lock. get it? the pliers helps keep the cir-clip open over the boot until the bottom.

thanks tim. im trying to visualize it, but id have to do it hands on to get it.
i appreciate it timbo. how hard was it to do?

i have 4 of them to tackle. the first two would be the hardest. the second two should be a lot faster.

Taking the civic to AAA to change ownership. I am going to miss that car, I sold her for 1850.00. but I am saving about 400 dollars a year on insurance for her, but I will be driving my accord more so there goes that savings. Ohh well and one last thing tonight I pack and tomorrow I leave for New York. I miss SoCal already.
