Yo homies, I'm debating removing my lowering springs and getting a set of coilovers (not the sleeves but the real ones). Springs ride fine and all but I want a lower drop .My question of the day is can someone out there that has a set of the coilovers let me know how the ride quality is? How is it on the highway and over holes and what not? and could somebody hook me up wit some pix of there CB slammed to the max wit these coilovers on? Much appreciated, playaz. And if anybody knows of somebody wit those Sprints please point me in their direction!

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Full Coilover System VS Whatever Else

I know two persons who's close to me.
Cali-Racer ,he's on D2 coilovers system. He rides max low and max stiff. Rode on his har and it's not that bouncy. Cheaps coilovers found on ebay are much worse regarding bounciness.
jdm_inspired on Apexi WS Coilovers , not dumped but lowered , rides very smooth.
Full Coilover System were meant to work together as they are mated properly. You just have to avoid the hazards.

I'm on K Sport coilovers and I love them. I had sleeve coilovers and tokico struts, but always bottomed out in the back. With the K sports, they have adjustable spring perches and the strut body itself is adjustable, too, meaning you don't lose travel. There is adjustability on the damping, too. Course, I can't enjoy them right now since my engine is toast.....F22a1, T3/T4 turbo, Greddy Type RS BOV on left-over AEM CAI piping, Turbo XS manual boost controller, PHAT intercooler, Crzy tuning, Walbro fuel pump, AEM FPR/fuel rail/pulleys/cam gear, Gude cam and throttle body, MSD ignition/cap/coil, NGK wires and Iridium plugs, Fidanza flywheel, ACT clutch, Nuespeed short shifter
9 lbs on stock internals (for 10 min)
16.2 1/4 mile with basics
??.? 1/4 mile with turbo
139 hp with all bolt-ons
??? hp with turbo
STAY TUNED

Maintaining qaulity parts > Looks
That's how I see it now anyway.
"Dumped" is nice though.

Best setup for our cars is the Neuspeed Super Cup Kit... hands down. Springs are springs; Koni Yellows are the best shocks (coilovers included) available for our car. After that, I would go with Nex coilovers, then the Func/Form coilovers and then all the rest as they're the same BC coilovers rebranded (besides Teins)
For the $$$$$$ you can't beat the Cup Kit

From best to worst
1. Koni yellow/ground control coil-over sleeve. yes i know you said you didnt want the sleeves but ground control has been proven over and over again on and off the track as being one of the best coil-over systems you can get when you combine them with koni yellow struts. they come with Eibach springs so you know your getting a quality spring and you can get custom springrates as well. normal koni yellow struts are good up until around the 500lb springrate before they start to weaken faster.
2. Function and Form/Tein/Omni Power coilovers. these are the bigger name brands for accords. One of our very own was the guinea pig for F2's type-2 coilovers (which im currently running myself). The F2 and Tein come with adjustable dampening and im not sure if the Omni powers have the adjustable dampening(whether you want a softer ride or a more stiff ride). These full coilovers are good for street duty as well as autocross.
3. Neuspeed Super Cup Kit. Only reason this is 3rd is because it doesnt come with the ride height adjustability other then the perch height on the strut. I dont have personal experience with these but i doubt you can go with a koni matched with a decent spring.
*If you want the absolute best coil-over you would go with a penske or a moton setup, but those are basically for the serious track guys....
i think i should ask to be the suspension area mod....
