ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Wow! Impressive! I like that a lot. I might consider this if I can't find black panels.

Off topic do those prelude seats ride lower? They look like they do and I want a seat that sits lower than stock.

        good idea

i have maroon int, and recently switched to gray leather. might have to use some sem gray paint for the dash , and pillars.

It depends on which route you use to install them. The cushions themselves are not that much lower than the OEM seats. If you use the OEM Accord brackets to mount them and don't try to retrofit the Prelude brackets, they sit at roughly the same height as the Accord seats. I can't comment on the Prelude brackets though. When I had Prelude seats, I used the Accord brackets because at the time no one had figured out how to use the Prelude mounts and get all four holes to work. I had determined how to use the Accord brackets and get everything mounted up as it was from the factory.

My only problem was that the seatbacks sat a bit too reclined for my liking.

Soon as the weather is nice i am stripping that burgundy red wine colored interior and blacking out everything, also dye carpets black after power washing them to squeaky clean. and degreasing all metal underneath. CANT WAIT.

The ivory on black is actually much better contrast than I had anticipated. I may have to consider doing this some day myself.

I have a few cans of black duplicolor I was going to use on my caprice but never got around to it. I know a few people who used it and had good results said it's all on how many coats you use and making sure what your spaying has been vacuumed and cleaned properly prior to spraying.

What did you use for your chrome trim? I really like the way that looks.

Is there any way of getting the seatbelts to match? I imagine a paint would flake or wear off given the nature of how the seatbelt has to flex.

My concern on painting the interior parts is longevity ? Cause daily use will get torn up
