ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Canadian Red Stripes

I just want to know how to do the Red stripes on the bumper like this:

    &

NOTE: I don't want to hear/read 'Paint, Sticky or Glue', I want to know how to put them on the correct way onto the bumper rails.

    few options.

paint them on, get chrome trim molding and paint it red then stick it on, use red electrical tape, etc...

First time I've ever heard the pin stripes referred to as "Canadian".

Either paint it or go to AutoZone, Advance Auto, etc, and get red pin striping. It'll be in the same aisle as the chrome butterfly stickers, chrome accents, and all that other ugly and tacky stuff.

At this point, applying the line on the trim is trial and error. Nobody can teach you something the way you're asking.

That would be like me asking you how to wipe a butt...

              x2.

On "real" bumpers/trim pieces that have the red line there's actually an indention that it's placed into.

The CB never had the option. The only way to do it is DIY. Just take your time... one little bump in your straight line will stick out like Megan Fox's thumb.

if you dont want them "painted" on only way to do it would be to buy JDM front and rear bumpers and side moldings...then remove the chrome and paint it red, reinstall and enjoy...good luck with that and spending close to $1000 for the body pieces as opposed to using paint or a vinyl pinstripe costing about $2

i wanted to do this in the past but changed my mind, i found on ebay very thin red self adhesive trim molding that comes in different thickness and length. not that exspensive and probably better then the tape. check it out.
