ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Delete mudflaps?

Well I removed my rear mudflaps today and gave them a good clean, then left them out in the sun to dry.
Came back an hour later and they were gone! Somebody's taken them.
I'm wondering if its worth getting another pair or just remove the fronts and go without... What do you guys think? Anybody else running no mudflaps? If yes can ya post pics/links so I can see?

Can't you just look outside at your own car? That sucks someone randomly took them though. You can get a new set for like $12 at pick n pull

Just take your fronts off, wash the car, and give it a week. Decide how you feel about the look after that.

        JunkYard

I like the mudFlap all around look on my 91 sedan, junkYard is the best place to purchase them, my junkYard price for mudFlap are about $6-10. It's worth it to buy.

Personally, I'd take them off so it matches all around, and then if you want a set of rears, put them back on.

I like the mudflap look. Plus they keep, well mud off your doors and rear bumper.

Comming back to this.... I just got my 91 sedan Ex last week and there were no mud flaps what so ever installed... Im sorry I like the look of them on the car I agree with the members here. As for someone running off with them I couldn't think there worth anything really... then again maybe they are I seriously don't know

Its very likely they may have fallen off over the years. Its only like 3 screws that hold them on.

Its more like 5-6 screws each in the front for sure. Lol... If you take the fronts off be prepared for anything on the tire to be on the front doors and mirrors, even your tire shine. Lol... I had mine off for a couple months back in the day and I could never keep the car clean, one little puddle after a wash = a complete waste of time if you like keeping it clean like me.

I agree with keeping the flaps to keep the car clean

I even keep them on really low cars just shave them a little

I love the look of them on, unless you have just the fronts like me.

My wagon oddly enough didn't come with the rears guards and it drove me a little crazy...lol....so I found a pair of rears for 7 bucks on craigslist and now my sanity has returned. Something about a lowered CB with mud guards that just looks...right. Also I live in Washington so yeah rain and melted snow creates a lot of crap to spray all over your car.

Mines missing both rears, but I have the right rear one from my previous coupe (that one was missing LR so I took it off). I agree with everyone else, the mudflaps look really good on these cars. Next trip to the yard I need to remember to look for one of those.

Yeah I think I'll just keep an eye out at the JY whenever I go, its not real urgent that I get a new pair, whoever took them must've just been trolling me.
