ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

sorry never got around to putting this up. car has a bunch of boost creep when its cold out. i bought a ported hotside and i need to port the o2 housing and see if it fixes the creep problem.

i was not full throttle in 2nd gear thats why im not bouncing off the limiter at the begining
maybe i should change the thread name to my build thread, who do i ask to do it?

What did you want the title to say?

Some of the pictures are down on the first page.

What are your plans for the transmission?

v8vega355's f22a build or something along thoes lines would work.

trans is a stock f22ax trans with an obx LSD in it that i had to replace the conical springs in and now it works perfect.

ill get the front page pics fixed

so....... it has these springs that look like washers in it that are junk from the factory. im pretty sure it broke in the first 5 feet when i put the engine in i heard a big bang and after the next 1k miles it got sloppy and quit working, i found a guy for 30 bucks that makes better replacement ones so when i had the trans out i removed the diff again and replaced the washers. (springs) since then it has been flawless. if your decide to go obx replace the washers before you put it in. http://rbryant.freeshell.org/obx_washers.htm here is the instructions and the kits are for sale at the bottom.

                updates

so its been about 8k miles since boosting the car. been driving it dailiy for 2 years back and fourth to work. it is no longer my daily as of about 2 months ago so miles will not be stacking up so much now.

over the summer it blew the head gasket im pretty sure the head didnt torque correctly when it was first put on. this time around i had to double check the nuts on the studs about 8 times. every time i would check i would find one nut would go another 1/8 turn or so.

heres a little video of how sloppy aries pistons are when you first start your engine cold. and why they are so loud.

decided to take it out on a cold, dry winter night about 2 weeks ago and well this happened

so 2 things broken isnt to bad. the car still makes me smile when ever i drive it. well worth it.

other wise engine is still together, noisey as ever.

trans is questionable, obx diff with the new springs are still working perfect. input shaft bearing is making noise and to many hard shifts are destroying something that engauges 3rd gear. bent fork maybe.

got coilovers on the car new whels, tires not sure how far i lowered it but here it is now
