Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

    Bought used 92 honda LX 145,000

    Just bought a 92 Accord LX with 145,000 for about 1,700. I know on bluebook the price said to pay about 1400-1500 but i just saw it and said yes. lol Anyway I changed the oil myself, made a mess and now I'm planning on changing the ATF, Fixing the door hinge's and the main relay, clock capacitors, sanding the rust off, fixing the front, rear bumper cover and the one damaged quarter panel . The car idles rough in drive when im at a stop and rougher when at a stop in reverse but i think I've heard that's because of the engine mounts. I'd like to put air conditioning it in, I don't see it in the engine or feel it so it must need the condenser or w/e.

    I'll post images if some one can tell me and help me understand/fix the rough idle in AT gear and rougher idle in reverse, when at a stop.
