ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    "No money for real wheels"

Let's see if I'm smart enough to add here some photos of my car... Got the pics in DropBox so let's see how it works...

It looked like this when I bought it from my friend for 200€. Looks pretty clean IMO, though the rear panels are bit rusted

After a month or so, this is the situation. Got rid of the rear window tinting, lowered her a bit and added some yellow tinting on the corners Few weeks ago my clutch went dead 'cause of a broken line...

Today I started changing the front brake discs and calibers... Such a pain in the ass! I couldn't get the bearings loose so I didn't get to change the discs... Tomorrow I get to use a 10 000kg press

    Some random photos:

Oooooh naaaah I don't know how to get some pics here!! Help me please D:
I don't use dropbox, but I think you have to place the images in the "public" portion of it, in order for others to be able to access it without your credentials. This thread looks helpful: http://www.stampcommunity.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11592

It looks like you did everything right as far as the BB code goes (you put a URL inside of the img tags). However, the URL you're using doesn't link to an image, it links to some Dropbox endpoint. You need to link to the image proper, such that if you put that URL in your browser, you would be presented with only that image on the screen, and no other content. (Open an image from your computer's hard drive in your web browser: what you see there is what I'm talking about.)

Repairing the rotors was a major PITA but I got it done nicely after all

Gave her some good loving this morning by cleaning the interior from floor to the roof... The amount of human slime was unbearable! Makes me wonder what in the name of baby jesus have the previous owners done in the car... LOTS of human hair and other nasty stuff...

It's an EDM thing. In North America they are clear.

The real thing is so much cooler than painted ones. It's little details like that which make the biggest differences.

Your car is full of little big differences.

I really need to lower it...

                          http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-97-HONDA-...5a351d&vxp=mtr

Does these things actually work or are they total junk?? Only thing that looks good on these things is the price... I can't afford anything like F&F coilovers

Oh no no no I'll never put those "coilover sleeve kits" on my car... I might as well get a job and save money for some used shocks and Vogtland springs for example. Any experiences of the Vogtlands? I'd love some 2,5-3" drop so maybe I should save more money and buy some coilovers...

Currently I'm rolling on cut springs and the driveability is pretty horrible.

Ok so I replaced both of my upper control arms and the ball joints. I drove like ~200km and the squeaking noise came back. Could it be a bad lower ball joint or what? I'm really getting sick of the noise...

Maybe I should burn the whole thing...
