ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Hello Raf. Tan leather seats, although I pulled the drivers out momentarily because it was a bit beat up.

I still can't believe how nice these cars drive. I went from an 07 civic to this and could never go back.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Today I need to clean up the transmission, as it leaks where the case splits. Hopefully the AlumBond I purchased seals it.

Ikr Fleetwood?! I wish it had the original wheels on it also.

Ya, I've had that problem. too bad someone doesn't make a crush gasket for this spot.

All the power locks are sticky and the passenger side window comes out of its track. Are these things easily remedied? I need to get to these two areas soon as this car is my daily driver. Maybe I'll pull the panel and see what's up with the window this weekend. Lots and lots of little things to be fixed. It burns oil too which I'm not real pleased with.

The window issue is likely a broken regulator. They have plastic pieces that break and can’t be repaired (far more common than actual motor failure.) You’ll need to source a new regulator.

As for the locks… lubricate everything.

Thanks for the info on the regulator. I'll pull the panel off soon and take a look at it.

I actually saw replacement parts at one time for the plastic part at the top of the rear window regulators, but they only had it available for the opposite side I was having a problem with.

60/40, make sure your transmission leak is really the split line. If the shift solenoid gaskets (on the front of the transmission) leak, it tends to flow down the front and across the underside in the area of the split line. Clean it off well, that will help you identify the leak location - a lot easier to change solenoid gaskets than reseal the case.
