Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Cb7tuner would be cool as a magazine. Back in the day there used to be Cb7tuner News, which was layed out like a magazine.
    Well an online magazine.

          I've actually been thinking that it would be awesome to do for quite some time now.

          We could probably make an e-zine. A paper magazine would be far too costly, unfortunately. Even if we had 2000 regular subscribers, the price would likely be $20 per issue, and the issues would be no bigger than the early Honda Tuning magazines.



          Maybe I'll get something going...








          And yeah... I'm on here way too much. That's kinda how I ended up where I am...

              I'm thinking on it... I would want to make it as different from a forum main page as possible... Actually have articles written, photoshoots, etc...

              We'll see what happens. I'll try to stay with the idea!

                          I'm actually looking into this. I COULD afford to get print magazines made. But in a small batch, quality is going to cost.

                          If I made this happen, we'd be looking at $15 for a 50 page magazine... for a run of 50 magazines. I'd have to see 1) if we can come up with enough content to bother making 1 50 page magazine, let alone multiple... and 2) if people would be willing to shell out 3x a normal magazine price for a cb7tuner magazine.

                          I've been weighing options on the best short-run magazine site I could find... For proper binding, gloss pages, and all the extras necessary to make this worthwhile, it's going to be a bit of an investment.

                              It wouldn't be a monthly thing... we couldn't possibly have enough content to make that interesting! It'd probably be quarterly, or less... 2-4 magazines a year, I'd figure.

                              Not to mention, editiing it would be quite time consuming. I'd probably be "hiring" an editing staff (and by "hiring", I mean changing your title to 'CB7 Magazine Editor' and working you like a dog... )


                              I'll look into ads. But honestly, CB7tuners don't spend money. Advertisers know this. Bisi is probably kicking himself right now because he's getting little to no financial support from this community. I'd run ads for him for free because I feel he's such a valuable contributor to this community.

                              If I could sell 20 ads at $20 each... this WOULD happen. It would knock the price down considerably as well.
