Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

        well i have a few things that i took out the car new deck and other part but wont cover the car thanx for the suggestion

              well it made a funny sound sorta like a backfire"was his excuse to pull me over" was really my exhaust really sounded wierd they pulled me over they asked
              "does ur car have any mechanical problems"
              yup o2 sensor is going out thats y it made the sound
              well to us sounds like an unsafe car 30 day impound

                Wow... is there anything illegal done to your car? Illegal tint, lowered more than your city allows, parts that aren't CARB exempt (modesto is in CA, right?)

                Or did they really just impound your car for a backfire... because there is NO WAY a bad o2 sensor can be "unsafe"


                Normally, I'd be on the side of the law... you break it, you pay the price... but this is one of those rare occasions that, if you are telling us the whole story, you aren't the one at fault... and they're being completely unfair.

                If anything, a "fix it ticket" should have been in order... your car isn't working properly, and it was brought to their attention, so they could demand that you repair it.

                  No fucking way backfire got his car impounded. There's definitely more to the story.

                    I'd think so too... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt... but it's quite unfair to impound a car JUST for that. Harassment and discrimination charges could probably be filed if there were no other issues with the car.

                      well they thought i did it to make fun of them cuz they pulled someone else over since they saw i can justify my error and thought i might b sum punk n an import they took it everything is legal hight carb everything

                      they couldnt find a reason to impuond my sh!it so they just used that
                      they searched for drugs anything eiligal no tint no weapons nothing man they were just bein dix thats the way cops are around here
                      to finish thing off he found a sheriffs card with a case num on it checked it and was about some shooting towards my house few days ago and tried to harras me bout that too S.O.B

                            lawsuit...they were unjustified. cars don't blow up cause of bad o2 sensors...they run rich cause of bad o2 sensors.

                            fight it...you have the right...just stay cool and calm
