like the title says i lost my first race. i got beat by a turbo sab. i pulled up next to him at a light and i looked over and he smerked and giggled at my cb7. then the light turned green and we took off. i was pulling away in first then my car shifted into 2nd (i have an automatic) and his turbo kicked in. then he just pulled away. I was a little disapointed but i new he was goin to beat me. It was still fun even with loosing lol. I just wanted to share.

There's no shame in racing with an automatic. I mean it's what you have so go with it. Of course having a standard is the way to go, but I had an automatic Taurus SHO that would smoke manual 5.0's any day of the weak.
