ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    New member From Oregon

Hello all. My first post. I got this car back in May, didn't drive it much, then in Nov. I lost my job and cancelled the ins. on it and garaged it for the winter. Starting a new job Monday, so got ins. back on it and cleaned out the large amount of dirt at the bottoms of the a-pillars (the main reason I garaged it, it didn't want all that dirt getting wet). It's a '93 EX, Japan-built. It showed up on CL for $3k then disappeared. Then it reappeared for $2500 and I grabbed it. Might be a bit high, but when inspected it and talked with the seller, decided it was too good to pass up. They had owned it since it was 5 or 6, it was the wife's work car, and she took care of the interior (and did an excellent job, the perfect dash top had a cover on it), and her husband did the maintenance--and he was a Honda tech at a dealership. So it got everything it ever needed. He claimed oil/filter every 3k and I believe him. To get ready for sale he replaced a drive axle, the distributor, and the kicker, a new AB$ pump. It currently has 230k, and the clutch is original, I guess his wife knew how to drive a manual! The bra is OEM 3-piece, I haven't put the ends back on since having the fender liners out. And it has GTO headlamp covers, he cut the ends off when they started cracking, but the sections over the headlamps have always been there, so they are PERFECT. Everything works, the only thing I have done is I had to open up the power antenna housing, but it's fixed and has a new mast. I swapped in a different head unit with the factory CD player under it.

Welcome! I had an auto in that color combination. If you find another rust free one like that - let me know!

I'm going to post some more pics, but I'll have to take some tomorrow that are lower-res, they are all too big.

Welcome. Dam this reminds me of my car when I bought it. Husband was a Canadian Tire mechanic his whole life (old nice fella), wife drove the car and garaged it. Car was in perfect shape. Looks great!

Raf, you'd be someone who might know. Does anyone you know of have a picture or file that could be used or modified for embroidery? I think it would be a nice finishing touch to have the script on the bra redone in green to match the car.

Ya, that's nice. I thought about doing this at one point but opted for a different bra. Polish up those headlights and it will look better :P

I should polish those old GTS covers, tho' the right one was cracked in two during its previous ownership. I'll polish 'em one of these days. I'm loathe to take them off since they've been on since it was 6 years old, the glass is flawless.

Very nice looking cb and I don’t think 2500 is too high. I wouldn’t put the other 2 pieces on, looks good how it is now.

If the $1000 one holds up I may be looking for a nicer $2500-$3000 car and honestly another CB would be perfect. Really clean ones DO still exist out in the wild!
