ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Is this going to be your 1st aftermarket/perf. clutch? Make sure you know the diff's. + pro's and con's of a full face, 3 puck, and 6 puck clutch disk, aswell as pressure plates. The 3 clutches pictured are all very different, that's all! Def. use a good throwout bearing too, nothing cheap, Nachi is good quality.

I would check to see if competion clutch makes their stage 2 for Accords and if they do I would recommend that. It is a full face disk made from carbon-kevlar and good for about 80% more power.

For turbo, I am thinking, a light flywheel will make the engine speeds drop faster and take you out of boost...

someone with boost and a light flywheel hop in on this.

as per the type of clutch, I suggest getting one that offers a light pedal feel...which one, not sure.

Exedy I have heard good things about: http://www.miata.net/products/perform/exedy.html

my first aftermarket clutch no really i had exedy stage1 before in my integra LS i like it much but since i'm going turbo i need something stronger, i don't know about ACT or F1, people tell me ACT is great . i dont want to put something in there that later on is going to get broken fast you know.

so can i keep the stock flywheel and put a better clutch and pressure plate? can that be better

I would also recommend that you do not get a pucked clutch for your car, harsher(not better) engagement with reduced life compared to full face.

get a competition clutch stage 3 or 4 with a lightweight flywheel. You wil find with a lower stage clutch and boost that you gonna eventually start slipping. always better to overkill the clutch cause you dont want to replace it twice which equals twice the $. wish i had done that instead of buying a comp clutch stage 4 then not even 500 miles later realize i need a twin disc. Comp clutch even their higher stages have near stock pedal feel and my stage 4 i had was a 6 puck sprung clutch but actually reacted very closely to a stock clutch and was extreamly user friendly!

Lightened flywheels are nice with boost because they help you build boost a bit faster.
