ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I know there's a dude here putting down 170whp on a stock block w/mild headwork and a tune. You GOTTA get the Bisi valvesprings though

          Straight from Bisi:

Level 1: street duty, excellent idle quality, emissions friendly.
Level 2: street/strip duty, mild idle lope, good for strokers.

I still need to tune mine but the stage 2 definitely gave it a noticeable boost . And yes if you go stage 2 you'll want to upgrade your valve train, costs a bit more $$$ but worth doing.

i would never run a stage2 cam on a stock ECU. IMO without engine management, you are better off with the stock cam. but if you get a chipped ECU and get it tuned, then you can expect at least 30hp gain

jdm92 is pushing about 170whp as glory said. he initially had it without a tune and he gained about 20whp which is not a lot for the money that you are paying. but then he tune it and got about 50 extra hp.

when i asked bisi wether is shoudl upgrade the valve springs he said Yes, you can, if you do not plan extended high rpm activity.... which makes big sense. but if you want the peace of mind, then you should get it. his kit is not expensive at all.

good luck revving your F22 to 7600rpm on a regular basis. i would definitely upgrade the valve train even for 7000rpm.

When ur valvesprings bind up and u take out a piston or two, it will cost more to buy a new motor, swap the old one out and throw the new one in... just get the valvesprings, or settle with the stg 1 cam.

What degree does everybody have their cam gears set on?

If it's a regrind of a stock cam, it would be best to leave it @ 0, HondaFan taught us this from the red project's dyno. Unless if you want to shift the powerband around, the stock cam gear is fine. Hardwelds are a diff. story though.
