    Horn just stopped working

my horn worked fine a week ago and out of no where they stopped... i know there's two of them behind the bumper and i'm pretty sure they just didn't both stop working out of nowhere... n i know there is no fuse for the horn so my question is... where the hell is the horn relay and any other ideas of the cause to this problem?

The fuse for the horn should be in the fusebox under the hood, the fuse box cover should have a diagram and should have the horn labeled.

Here is a link to the electrical diagrams for our car, from a haynes manual:

              Horn Relay

              Where is the Horn Relay?
STICKY: Where is..... (From Parts & Performance Section: Technical)

Horn Relay: Behind left side of dash

There is also a Horn Switch in the Steering Wheel which could have gone bad.

The fuse look was a good idea, since BOTH stopped working all sudden. Since fuse is fine, I would check the steering wheel contact points and wiring next. Then, I would remove front bumper cover and check horns themselves, just make sure they get power and if they are, that is good. If not, that is your problem. Assuming they get power, ground them to activate them and test the horn units.

I find it against odds that both stopped working at same time.

Are you the type or have drivers in your car that BANG the steering wheel to activate horns? If so, I'd definitely check the contact points, they bend and can stop grounding to activate horns.

Still check the steering wheel. I bought my car only left side of steering wheel horn button worked, not the right. It was the contact points bent from previous owners. Horn units tested fine.

It is easier to remove & check steering wheel than front bumper cover.

well i removed the steering wheel n the contact points are fine... so i took my test light to test the connector at the horn n there is no power so it must be the relay... which brings me back to my original dale-ma of not knowing where exactly to look or how the horn relay looks

get someone to press your brake pedal down and check if you brake lights work. I know the fuse for the horn and brake light are tied together it might just be the actual fuse's spot thats effed up

I breathe down shit so hard, you could see sound.
