ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I bought a LCA from them for my Tiburon
it seems to be of good quality, but they sent me the wrong side [>.<]
    so i never tried it.

but if you can afford real Honda parts, then you should go for that.

EDIT: I believe that they are the same, except that TAS sells it for more.

You should check the for sale thread on here. I'm not sure who it was but someone had some Skunk2 upper control arms for sale with adjustable mounts and everything. Just a thought.

I bought one of those kits once, but it was from "arm-can"... a seller notorious for selling REALLY crappy parts! I only used the upper control arms and sway bar bushings. They held up well enough.

Honestly though, I would cough up the dough for OEM Honda parts. These are very important parts, and you don't want them failing on you. If a ball joint fails, you crash. They're really not THAT expensive from Honda, and chances are you don't really need to replace all those parts right away anyway.

I bought a kit like this off ebay, the price was very inviting. A little over a year later I was replacing EVERYTHING again. Unless you want to do it again, stay away, and get oem from the start. Just my experience, maybe you'll get lucky.

Unless you find out the manufacturer of the OEM parts, the only place to go is the dealership. Once you know who makes them, you can search for that brand elsewhere. I'm quite sure Honda's ball joints aren't made by Honda...

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, which is Majestic Honda (a dealer in CT) deals in such volume that they have VERY good prices on authentic Honda parts. That's where I would go. I've ordered from them before (the box is still sitting on my table behind me ) and everything went smoothly.

Why is that? Based on the price alone, or do you have some inside knowledge about the quality of these components? Or are you just posting so you can be a part of the discussion, without actually offering any real information other than your uninformed opinion?

Setting an example like this is what gets members with under 30 posts banned for whoring.

The TAS kit is somewhat better... it's not quite OEM spec, though they say "meets or exceeds OEM". However, TAS has a reputation to uphold in their very focused market, so you can be sure they're not going to sell you crap.

Still, OEM is better. TAS can also get OEM parts at a reasonable price.
