ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I wouldn't call it too hard, but it is no walk in the park, I'd suggest doing it on a weekend so you have 2 days just to make sure.
    Hi, I'm Shippo and I have a problem. I keep buying CB7's.

well on the dsm setup you'll have to drill two holes in the manifold, no big deal..

You will *need* some kinda fuel managment, along with new injectors.. boost gauge I would suggest..

That guide I listed eariler covers most of this, and you can search and find most of the info needed.

You can go about this project blindly, and just bolt on the parts people tell you to bolt on. but until you understand each and every element in a turbo setup, you will always have problems.

Take 6 months, read this site, homemadeturbo.com and any other sites you can find to fully understand how a turbocharged systems, and modified ECU systems work. Then you will be ready to take on a project like this.

it depends on how much boost you want to run usually but f22's (depending on what variation on that block) can run 6-8lbs stock from what i hear...

i've never had a turbo f22 because vtec > everyone but you shouldnt have to i think...

What do you mean the variation of the f22 block? Bottom ends are all them same....With the exception of compression on the jdm f22b.

8-10 psi on most turbos will be fine.

compression has a lot to do with turbos...

Stock internals work to a point. Make sure your motor is healthy before you do anything major, however. Do a compression test, fix any oil leaks you might have, make sure your cooling system is in proper working order.

8-10psi with proper tuning and decent parts should last you. You'll want an intercooler to keep intake temps down.

Accord R33 is right. Research on here (search for anything regarding the DSM turbo setup...). Honestly, Accord R33 is one of the pioneers (if not THE pioneer) of the DSM setup here on the board. Look through his old posts, and you're bound to find all the info you need. Bolting on parts isn't all though. You need to know what they do, and what they require.

Also, the smallest turbo you should consider is the 14b from the 1st generation DSM. The t25 from the second generation is a bit smaller, and really shouldn't be used. Many DO use it, but the heat and backpressure created by the smaller turbos on our large 2.2L motors is not good.

his point is that all the f22ax blocks have the same compression. even the F22bs compression isnt all that much higher.
