ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Auto to manual wiring question

Hey guys, so i have searched all over the forums and i cant seem to find updated or posts with pictures that show how to do the wiring when converting an auto cb7 into a manual

    does anyone have any info?

i used the guide a member posted on how to do the manual swap with the numerous pictures in it but in the thread he mentions he will be doing the wiring DIY as a follow up but never ends up adding that info..

Any help would be much appreciated guys. thank you

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

i do have some questions however.

in the post everyone keeps saying L and M and G etc etc..
      what are those?

I am assuming thats the designated pin out locations for the wiring on the grey and brown plug.
assuming thats the case, are the letters visible on the plug itself? or do I need to get a wiring diagram? and if so, where can i find such a diagram without ending up purchasing a helms manual?

You should still be able to find a manual at
        http://www.hondahookup.com/forums/do...hp?do=cat&id=7

normally I don’t condone sharing pirated materials, but I believe the Helm manual is no longer in print… so if it’s still there, I say it’s fair game.

the lettering is embossed into the plastic, on the side of the automatic shifter assembly. Once you remove the center console and reveal the wiring harness that leads to it, look closely on the side where the wires connect. The letters are indicating which wire in particular. You would then need to follow the color through to whichever connector/harness location further up.

Here is the pinout from the helms manual. Letters are indicated directly on the wiring plug!
