ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sure he does. But he keeps his cool... and hands out the longest bans ever

Like me, he really only gets mad when people are disrespectful. Show respect, and you can argue all you want.

So, anyway, getting the A4 header and h23 intake mani should add about 10 hp to an A6? Send the the throttle body to maxbore, short ram and intake, should run around $410? $100 for maxbore, around $60 for the oem honda parts from a junkyard, 200 for 2.25" exhaust (piping and labor only), and $50 for a cheap short ram. Should add a minimun of ~20hp to an A6? I already have a short ram (K&N), and a higher-flow muffler (not sure of brand), and for some reason I think I measured my exhaust and it WAS 2.25"? I'm not sure (I measured it over a year ago), I'll measure it again.

hey, if i use the h23 throttle body, will there be fitment issues?
does it fit into my AEM short ram intake like the stock throttle body?

The H23 throttle body is wider, so you might need to stretch the connector. The intake will be a little narrow, but it'd work. A 3" intake pipe would probably be best.

I can't say for sure what those things would add, but I would think 20 at the crank would be a fairly reasonable conservative estimate. This, of course, is assuming that your engine isn't in lousy shape to begin with! On a healthy engine, the gains should be decent.

Yeah, which in my case means its seal & gasket replacement time.

how much would i have to stretch my connector?
can i get some measurements in the differences in diameter?
i dont really want to rip the connector or anything...i only have one

True. But in the US, that engine would cost more than $500.

b3nsonx, I don't have an exact measurement (I'll see if I can get one tonight, it would be helpful). Regardless, connectors are easy to come by. 93twodoorLX got his F22 AEM SRI on easily enough, I believe using the stock connector.

Throttle body spacers do nothing for us. You might be able to make use of plenum spacers, though.

the plenum spacers that i saw were for the vtec engines..

They should work just as well. Scott, feel free to chime in if I'm incorrect.

The H23 and H22 plenums are the same. Which means that they bolt up the same. Which means an H22 plenum spacer (or two, you can double up), will fit. Lengthening the runners (which is what it will do) should provide some extra power. How it will translate to the F22, I can't say for sure. I don't see why it wouldn't provide the same sort of gains, though.
