    17" wheels

anyone have any pics of cb7's with 17" wheels? I found this ad on craigslist and I'm thinking about picking them up. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/pts/3210334123.html

don't want to go buy them then find out they don't fit or they look dumb though.

here's a picture of what they are:

205/40/17 tires, but the car is at the perfect height to not make them look silly.

Same wheels on my coupe, with less drop, and I think they look retarded on it. Soooo much wheel gap. Doesn't look as bad in this photo as it does in person.

I don't like cast rims myself they break so easily are also extremely heavy.

That rim your looking at is 22-23 lbs(a site says 22.3) lightest tire is about 18-19 lbs with most being 23-24 lbs you end up with a bulky 41-47 lb wheel.

I run stock rims and 15" motegi traklites(bought set of 4 for 550 shipped.)(also stock size tire195/60R15)9.8 lbs /w a 17 lb tire. It ends up weighing about 26.5-27 lbs.

Stock rims on my car weighed 17 lbs with a used 19 lb falken ZE912,(original weight 21 lbs I think) so 38 lbs new, 36 lbs bald. huge difference in the way the car feels.

I'm eyeballing these http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand, once income comes in I'm selling my 16" and upgrading.

$350 for 4 rims plus rubber is a good deal.
