black or silver

hey guys, came across a thread where a few people have silver "H" on steering wheel.

every cb7 ive ever seen has a black "H" with the exception of one, but it had a swapped steering wheel.

i might have seen silver on an earlier (90-91) cb7, but im not sure.

so my Q (check poll above) what color is the "H" on your steering wheel?

i dunno. maybe.
cuz i usually just look at 92-93's and ignore 90-91s
(92-93s are more sexy IMO )

+ i tend to look at EX models

edit: it might be year thing, or it might be a region thing

the difference is due to the airbags in the 92-93 cb7s. Thats why they have different steering wheels.

I had a silver one in both my gray one, and my silver car... until i made a trip to the junkyard and was browsing and found what looked like a 90-91 ex or se or something, pretty gutted....but the golden H was still in the steering wheel.... so i got it and now it lives in my steering wheel... so yeah my H is golden now so my vote went under "other".

They were a factory option on 90/91s. Plus, when you get a racing steering wheel you lose the airbag anyway. Also, back in the early 90s was when everyone was dying by airbags instaed of actually being saved by them. Im pretty happy there isnt one in my car.

9091's without airbags had a silver H emblem embedded into the steering wheel, the 9293's just had black embossed plastic. the H emblem from the 9293 front grille fits perfectly in the center of the 9293 steering wheel (only problem is that if the airbag goes off, you have a hard piece of plastic flying at a million miles an hour at your face), or you can paint the H by hand. i personally like the silver H...

lol, my pal has a 92 integra... his auto seats almost chocked him to death twice (long but funny story) and they have knocked my head on more than one occasion!

conclusion: auto seatbelts suck!
