    Leather Interior question

I was thinking about re-doing my interior and was wondering how much weight leather would add on. How much would it effect how quick my car is. I don't want to sacrafice speed that much.

in all reality i cant see that this is going to drastically reduce 1/4 mile times but it might make a noticeable difference.....

the leather doesn't effect things much. it's the seats both front and rears that makes the weight gains.

what about a random street race?

I shouldn't notice that much of a differance right? my friend is telling me not to do it cause I will get noticably slower.

If your ca is so slow that your woried about weight then you should not be racing... i always race full intirior and have never noticed a difference.

I've compared CB cloth seats to CB leather seats and there isn't much of a difference, it may add to alittle more, but it won't be much.

if you take a nice ig dump before the race, you'll make up about half of the weigh gain. throw out the change in the ash tray and get the crap out of your trunk to make up the rest.
