    oil covered carpet :(

    hello again

for some time now my em2s carpet has been dirty as hell. it has this yellowish oil on it that I cant seam to get rid of. I guess it came from stepping into my ride after walking on the wet oily roads after rain storms. I tried using cleaners but it does nothing except make it worse.

what can I use to get rid of it???

I had alittle incident recently w/ MTF on my rear seat, I did straight simple green first, let dry and then went over it w/ Tuff Stuff. Did really well, make sure you work it in to dissolve the oil and wick it out using a damp cloth.

I bought trunk interior from a junkyard and was covered in oil. So when i got home i sprayed it down with water. I bought some tide and sprinkled some of that on their. Took a little brush and scrubbed it out. After doing that for a couple minute washed out all the tide and it looked brand new. So that worked prety good.

take the carpet out of your car

        hit it with some tide

        then steam clean it

^^^ I already cleaned & put it back on. I found out that some how PS fluid is leaking to my interior & causing most of those stains.
