No go. It's just too dang tight. I can make it budge what's so ever.
Anyone have any luck ? Or any method ? I may take a zip tie and tug on the bottom

Yeah I'll give it a shot tomorrow. It's poorly designed in that sense

I've had great luck with the hammer and screwdriver trick.
Some lubricating spray would also help - LiquidWrench and PBblaster both should be safe on plastic/rubber.

I would do the hammer and screw driver trick. Tap it one way a few times, then the other way, then back the other way. Little light taps, see if you can loosen it up. Besides that, wear gloves + two hands, and lots of strength.

Best way to change headlight - low beams
Hello !
It's been more than 10 years since I changed bulbs on a CB7
I can't unlock the ring on the low beams. Without that I can't get the bulb out. Anyone faced a similar issue ? What was the best option or method on opening it ? Thinking about tapping it with a hammer and a flathead but not trying to break it.
Any help would be appreciated !Tags: None
