Ive got the product for you! I use it all the time. When you wax be careful not to get wax on the mouldings. But if you do you can use this http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.j...rchtext=bumper
With this stuff you put like two coats on the areas you got the wax and your good to go
::edit:: You do not need to remove the mouldings to use this product. Just shake and wipe the applicator in the appropriate areas.... If you use it to heavy and it runs onto paint ---> wipe it dry with a paper towel and then rewax that area to remove the stain.Last edited by Chrisisiced; 06-29-2007, 02:42 PM.

Just tried this product a few days ago to bring life back into the junkyard pulled OEM lip I have. Great product, its essentially a dye like other similar products. Actually the same company sells a wax remover (used when you don't need to dye your moldings)--I haven't used it: http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.j...xt=wax+remover
I also hear Forever Black http://www.foreverblack.com/products.htm#bumper works better than Mother's Back to Black.

I had no trouble using Back to Black on my trim, it removed the wax stains perfectly, and also darkened up the trim as the name implies. Just make sure you really rub it in, then let it sit for a few minutes (at least) before wiping off the excess. Also going over the bad areas an extra time may help. Make sure to follow up with a vinyl/rubber protectant too. I've also used WD-40 to remove stains from trim, it's convenient if you don't have anything else on hand.Last edited by cjv998; 07-04-2007, 04:46 PM.

This might sound anal but, after I wash/dry my car I use painters tape and mask off the molding so I don't end up waxing them.
I got the idea AFTER I hit the molding with wax. Works pretty good and doesn't leave adhesive on the molding either.3 CB's gone....
1 WK Overland....
Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

Hey I use the blue tape all the time now when I wax and/or polish with my oribital. We all know why...and I don't mind spending extra time taping all moldings (roof, door, bumpers, lip) if I don't crap them up later.'92 Accord LX Sedan--Bordeaux Red Pearl --OEM--279k Daily Driver
