I am using mirror lenses from a '96-'98 3.2TL to make my power folding mirrors heated. I would like to integrate this into the rear defroster switch. From looking at the wiring diagram for the Accord I know that the yellow/white and black wires that go into the back of the rear defroster switch are for controlling the on/off function. The wire leads that come off of the lenses are blue/red and black/white. Unfortunately the Haynes manual does not seem to support CDM cars so I can't compare heated mirror lens wire colors there, and I don't have a wiring diagram for a 3.2TL either. Would someone be willing to share with me which mirror wire should coordinate with the on/off switch for the defroster. I'm assuming the black/white is a ground but I didn't want to go ahead without someone who had experience doing this. Thanks.

The heaters are shown as blu/red 12v, and blk/wht as ground. I really don't see any reason why it couldn't be reversed though.
At the defroster switch is not a good choice to wire the heaters. You want to connect after the timer and defroster relay. This would be blk/grn pin 2 of connector 503(2pin brn) at rear of dash fusebox.
Connect the blk/grn to the blu/red. Interesting. I mainly chose the rear defroster switch for the ease of putting an adapter harness inline between the existing harness and the switch. I wanted this to be easily removed in case something ever happened to the car where I needed to transfer all this wiring I've been doing (this project and others). I will definitely take a look back there and see if I have easy options for making a similar harness there. Thank you very much for your continual help on issues like these I've had questions on.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

You can do it behind the switch but it is more work.
The switch is momentary so if you use the yel/wht you have to use a latching relay. Instead, you need to add a relay triggered by the yel/grn at the switch. This the output from the timer to indicator light.
Wire relay
85 yel/grn trigger
86 yel/blk switched 12v
87 yel/blk switched 12v

The 3 pin is connector 405. That is the wrong connector
Pin1 wht-ignition swith power supply
Pin2 wht- blower motor relay power supply
