Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    CD5 exhaust to CB7

    Will a CD5 exhaust bolt up to a cb7?
The piping is in 3 peices, just wondering if the muffler section
with the curve will fit my cb

No, it will not. I know this for a fact because I cut a Remus Exhaust that was for a CB to fit my CD chassis. The exhaust section of the CD is longer my I forgot how many inches. What I had to do was buy a spare CD chassis exhaust and cut the pipping so that the side that connects to the flange from the mid pipe could be welded onto the actual section of the Remus, essentially joining both in the middle.

The funny thing is that the flange section of the Remus, that was originally for the CB, and the spare CD chassis exhaust I have is the perfect length for you CB guys. All you would have to do is weld it and it's essentially bolt on without any of the work I did. Should you perhaps be interested, feel free to contact me.

Oh, than if that is the case, no. What I typed above still applies.

ahh. I never test fit, but

The part of the exhaust with the muffler I traded for
an EVO2. I guess I have to get it welded?

Do a test fit. Some of the local guys in San Antonio run CD exhausts.
