Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Well unless the engine is perfectly sound, you probably will mess some stuff up, ringlands always first to go in stock boosted hondas, they are the weakest link! But you could always try! IMO
Just build up the bottom end, total seal rings, bored out 1 over, maybe new sleeves, etc. Then prob boost to 12-14?

f22b with 16g only making 208 whp? I'd be expecting a lot more then that. I would think it would be in the 230whp range.

that was todd's and his base timing at the dizzy was way off. He said he was probably running 10-12* timing at idle. He forgot to mark TDC on his fidanza fly

As a rule of thumb when calculating hp for an engine after turbo you could use this very effective method.

Let's say the engine has 130chp and you boosted it 7psi (.5 bar). 1bar will for the most part increase engine output by 100% since it is 100% atmospheric pressure. So .5 bar is a 50% increase.

                        So 130 +50% = 195chp.

So the H23 will have more power on 7psi for example then an F22A4 with the same boost.

whats the "c" in chp? I'm used to seeing bhp and i'm sure chp is just another variant of it. I'd suppose it means crank-end or cylinder.

I tried searching for it but all i got was the california high patrol lol. Certainly want no part of them....

Just my way of seperating crank/flywheel horsepower from tire/wheels horsepower.
