From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Opinion: Turbo or All Motor?

Hey guys i was just wondering what you guys prefer. about four of my buddies that have tegs swear by NA. I however have mad respect for the all motor guys because obviously to get a NA motor running fast as a Boosted motor it involves much more money, time , and most of all Dedication to his/her car. I have two different opinions on Turbo or All-Motor. For turbo i mean you can jsut hrow a turbo on anymotor but that doesn't really mean that the thing will run great, plus i think you'll blow the motor faster. Whereas with a NA motor your "Building" it wich obviously means that the motor can handle what you put in it because you had to upgrade said part on the motor for the other part.. I could be very wrong guys don't hold me to it by any means.

    Post your opinions guys..

boost is easier for the accord and will be faster.

well here is the thing... it is all in tuning.. it just depends what u want and yes, boost is a easier option but things can go wrong with boost, and sometimes it is a freak accident sometimes it happens cause someone didnt take proper percausion... but for me it is all motor, sure i have had boost, nitrous and now i am in my all motor with nitrous stage, so i built my F22a4 then now it is getting sold, but i made awsome power... i made 172whp and 198Wtq... and with a LSD h22 tranny and slicks i made a 13.8 and then a 13.654 but i only got 2 runs and bogged bad... but ya, i love the mtoor, of course it only has a 1000 miles on it and already has a tuned ECU that is getting sold with it... i have to sell it because i used money i didnt have.. and now i am building my daily driver F22a4 with same mods but lower compression the all motor F22 used 12.2:1 compression pistons plus a thinner head gasket, and a slightly milled head... and i was still running 91.... then also my daily driver will only utilize 10.8:1-11.2:1 compression so that i can down tune to save money on gas and make it a little more reliable... anyways, good luck with ur project... hope everything goes well. as some of us know, it doesn`t always go perfect if u dont take percausion...

All depends on your power goals. I personally like all motor better cause the tuning doesn't have to be as dead on like boost but my power goals for my cb7 are way higher than na would allow.

Edit: for mid 12s you can either boost a f22 or a h22. I've seen it done with both.

Yea but with an H22 boosting it i will have to lower compresion and in turn loseing some power right?

no you dont. You just need to have it tuned really really really well. Since you have a number goal and not a power goal its a little easier. You dont just need to know how to lauch your car really well with about 300 whp and you'll be in the 12s easy. hell if you can launch it right you can get into the low 12s almost. Its going to take alot of work but it can be done. Search!!! Theres someone on here there someone who's done it with the f22.

pretty much^^lol. nah, people dont like reading long posts, so maybe u should write in paragraphs dude, lol, it would be easier on the eyes.

but anyways, i was talkin about boosting an H22, to get into the 12's, you would need to resleeve the block and get other goodies that dont come very cheap, so that would be around 2.5k plus whatever kit u decide on doing. the same thing goes with the h22, ur gona need some parts that cost major, but will only get you a little power, and it all adds up in the end. ur also gona need tuning time at ur local dyno.
