Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    carbon fiber drive shaft

    Ive heard these go hand in hand with a good lightened flywheel and when they snap the do not fly every where in little peices they just splinter. A site said that aside from the reduced weight that the carbon fiber flexes when torque is applied and puts less strain on the engine? Any one know of any manufaturer that makes these for our accords

        Umm....just no.

        I believe that you are thinking about a driveshaft for a RWD vehicle, carbon fiber is strong...but no, I can't imagine that it would "flex" if wound into such a small tight shaft like one of our axles, wereas a larger driveshaft may give a little...

        But, like I said....just...NO.

            CF Axels maybe? I dont know anybody that manufactures them, but with like anything else, someone will build one if your willing to pay.

            What the fuck is wrong with you guys, that was a perfectly sensable question.
