Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

no. not at all. A muffler isnt going to change your performance. If anything you might get 1whp topend

The new muffler wont affect performance at all, it's mostly a cosmetic detail, also changes the sound significantly. The Tiburon runs a V6, 190-200 hp I believe.

if its a straight thru muffler you may lose some low end torque

The low end torque doesnt matter on the highway!!!!

But the tiburon had you with 170hp, weak V6 but strong enough to smoke our 4's

what the hell does a tiburon beating u on the highway have anyting to do with u losing low end torque. that car would have smoked u amyway. get a catback, not a strait through design muffler. the reason u might feel a loss at low end is because of a loss of backpressure, same thing with a test pipe.

thats cause that car is faster than urs and it made it seem like u were going slower. once again, u dont have low end torque on the highway
