Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    cold start problem

okay so this just starting happening yesterday morning. In the morning when i go to start my car it cranks forever and then i stop and it cranks a couple more times and starts, but runs like poop. so this confused me but i wasn't too worried about it, today it does the same thing. (by the way it starts right up when the motor is warmed up)

today i was a little late it took a bit to get started and ran like poop, but i was in a hurry so i didn't have time to let it warm up. and vtec engaged as i was pulling out of the neighborhood (3100 rpms) so i take it that the ecu thinks the motor is at normal operating temp when it actually is not. the temp gauge still reads just like normal, i.e. cold when cold and warm when warm.

if anyone has any ideas on what this could possibly be i would appreciate it.

    btw i have:

F23 single cam vtec, p06 converted to vtec tuned on crome

ran great started fine and would not go into vtec until it was at normal operating temp up until yesterday morning

    thanks for the help
