The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

there are like three different ones: 16g, big 16g, and EVO3 big 16g
they are all good turbos that will make good power on an F22.
just make sure it is an authentic Mitsubishi turbo and not a knock off

To be honest, if it's a knockoff ebay 16g, save your money. Those can be bought brand new for $200. BUT they will take a shit really fast on you.

Get a MHI 16g...THAT is the best for your money. Don't go cheap when doing something that could mean the life or death of your engine

Make sure you don't use cheap parts. If you need parts, PM me. I have some from when I upgraded - injectors, O2 housing, downpipe, manifold, turbine housing, etc. etc.

                    it's a good price for a MHI
and MHI big 16g and big 16g EVO III are b-o for 7 months so if you can find a good used one at decent price go for it.
but if you want to buy a new one, there is a good compagnie who make them since MHI are B-O. they have a home brand big 16g evo3. theay are made by Kinetic and it's a candian company, not chineese crap.. you can get it for 450$USD.

Right now I'm running the 14b turbo at 20psi, daily driven. This is with ALL supporting mods AND A PROPER TUNE though. I've had no issues so far, but I am going to be getting my 16g soon. Just can't decide whether I want to port the housing and upgrade the flapper or go with an external wastegate

here is a actual post of mine in my thread..

of my Evo 3 16g that i ported.
my boss had bought it for $650 then later i ported it, when i blew my car up.

"have the motor pretty much ready to pull right out now,, just waiting on new motor..

so i decided with the down time tonight to port the evo3 exhaust on the turbo,,, 3 and 1/2 hours later i still have alot to do lol.

i ported the evo 3 turbo prolly as much as i am going to... sorry no before pics,, and i started on the evo o2 housing as well,, i got rid of all the casting and notches and gasket matched everything. getting it as slick i i possibly felt like. lol here are some turbo cat pics,

here are some pics from chessboxer whom bought it ported already from someone who had a shop port it,, i think i did better, honestly,

                            here is mine

oh yeah i cut abouut a inch opening in the downpipe section and i notched out and ported around the wastegate so it can open a full 90 degrees, to allow better flow as well.
what a lil more elbo grease can accomplish..

they are great turbo's but i was pushing a constant 29-32 psi on it, with highly modified advanced timing and fuel curves.
DSMLINK is the shit!!!!!! Honda needs a program like it, then i may have more respect for them.

anyways, your turbo should hold up well with minimal boost most accords use.

Also another option, a bit more expensive, but I was also considering...you can go with the custom cast Monster housing by Mach V. Already ported, upgraded 38mm flapper.
