Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

You should buy it back and put a bottle on it. Then the forum can place bets on how long the motor lasts.

I'll buy you a nomex suit.

My friend's little brother had a turbo shadow that he boosted the piss out of... just slapped on a manual boost controller and cranked it up. That car was on blocks real fast.

          False.

          See this document: http://mysite.verizon.net/vzezeqah/s...bochargers.pdf

Read learn and do the math. if this is too involved to deside if you truely need an intercooler or not then jsut stick one on there and dont worry about it. but be careful nto to oversize yor intake system when turbocharging. many peope do this and have poor results, which makes them believe superchargers are awesome. and they aren't Super's = ***(in my opinion) the only thing cool about them is their air flow is pretty static.

Based on my opinions(and many others) with a engine like the H22( or any variant of H engines) you should have an intercooler on there. Since their compression ratio is a full point higher than F's, their cyln walls are thinner(less of a heat sink), its doubtful that you would get a cheap turbo with a graph and efficiency rating good enough to forego an intercooler.
