Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Ever thought of a f22b1 trans? Slighty shorter than the f22a.

I would suggest the same it's a good in between tran's as far as gearing goes. In the end it's your choice, but heres a list for you to look over.

Disabling vtec would be dumb wouldn't it? I've seen how vtec killer cams idle, and I DO NOT want a car that idles like crap and is not street drive friendly

Disabling Vtec will not cause an idle issue the lobes only work at engagement. Now if you enabled the vtec at idle it would idle like crap.
Personally there's no point in disabling it on such a setup, i don't see you needing wild crazy cam's (Type S would be sufficient) to hit 300-400whp that's been done on the stock topend countless times.

In my F trans i hit 155 in 4th gear(Dyno) never ever topped out 5th.

In my H LSD trans i hit 116 in 4th(Dyno).

my H trans, because of shorter gears gets "there" faster. But if your doing a proper build get a good F trans.
