Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Looking for a good shop in Southwestern Connecticut for Sleeving a block

Long story short, going to be replacing the headgasket in my H22. I have decided I am going to sleeve my block in fear of wasting the money to only have the ring lands break on the engine. Does anyone know a good shop in or around Stamford, CT that you would trust with your engine?

Thanks DJ :-). I used to live up in the Hartford area. I will check into both. What block did you have sleeved and how many miles have you put on it?

Though we are not located locally, you can ship us your cylinder block for sleeving. I can offer you Golden Eagle Sleeving service with pricing starting at only $1,181 and about $150 for return shipping. Best of all I can back up the block for a lifetime against cracking or sinking. I'll shoot you a pm.
