Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Question about stock h22 turbo

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but this guy pulled up in an H22 turbo eg hatch and told us that he runs 15psi on stock internals with a block guard and makes 559whp. I was iffy about it until I rode with him, but now I think he's bsing about the stock internals. He said all he has was that block guard and arp head studs. I don't recall the turbo or size but is this even possible? 559hp on a turbo stock h22?

I'm surprised it lasted as long as he said it did. We boosted a stock z6 on I think 20psi and it lasted two days. I want to make 559 but I want it to be reliable.

        Possible? Yes.
Longevity? Questionable dependent on quality of tune.

And you had it tuned by a proper tuner?
If so, well, that speaks of the tuners quality.

. . . Also you seem to want to make a very specific number, Honestly that will be very hard to do.

I know, the z6 was on its way out so we figured why not just boost it and have fun lol. But after riding in the guys car I'm wanting to turbo. But do it so that it's reliable
