Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Conquest/Starion Turbo???

    Does anyone know what turbo came factory on the Conquest and Starion?

    I have a 1987 Conquest and a 1985 Starion in my family's junkyard.

    I can get the turbo(s) free, if they're worth using that would save me alot of money. If not I'm just gonna sell them.

    If anyone came get me the model #'s and some info that would be great, I just haven't had time to go out there and get them off and get the model #'s. I guess my main question is will they do anything for our motors.

      I don't think that the older one is I/C, it's a four lug base turbo. I'll check though, it's about 45 mins from here, but I going down tomorrow....

      The '87 is a front-end wreck. I/C, radiator, and bumper are gone!

        TDO5 (no "h"). i think its also known as the 14g. a weeee bit bigger than the 14b i believe

            I have a few questios for you.....

            1. If it is in fact a TDO5/14g, and still in good shape, would this be a good candidate? If it's not too much bigger than the 14b, would lag be a serious problem? I think I can deal with a little more lag....(Keep in mind it's FREE)

            2. Do you know if they use the same flange? Could I get an adaptor made from the original manifold or send the flange to you if they're different?

            3. If so, could you give a deal on one of your kits with out a turbo??

            I'm going to get the turbos anyways, but if can put them to use that would be awesome!!!!

              LOL i go ta turbo truck and a turbo 280z but i am getting h22a and putting 75 shot on it but for now i just have a 75 shot lol
