Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

His turbo is a small 16g...if he takes a picture of the fins you will see it..The exhaust housing is also larger than the 14b

His turbo is basically a stock 14b with an upgraded 16g compressor housing if I am correct. The wastegate actuator is the same as the 14b, so at 8psi it should open.
14/16/20 wastegate are set a 9psi from factory, but with time they start wearing down. Some leak/get stuck open…. hence why people think theyre set at different psi.

well the stock boost is set to 12psi (or something around that area), and unless you 90ex have found some magical way to turn DOWN boost with a mbc, he won't be able to do it.. either going to have to modify the wastegate actuator arm, or go external..

Then again, internal wastegates are infamous for creep/spike issues. So that 10psi might jump up at times.
