From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    The weather was nice today, so i went to the dragstrip.
    I had expected the car to spin a lot of tires. I have 24.5" tall slicks with 13psi in them.

    I have my 2step rev limiter set to 4000rpm, so i can build up 7psi on the starting line.
    1st pass, i bogged it like crazy, but amazingly enough the car did not spin tires. It hooked!!! My 60ft was horrible like a 2.1
    I ran a 13.2 at 110mph the 1st pass. I granny shifted it the whole way, shifting at 6500rpm.

    Then my starter died... It always has to happen at the track...
    So i pushed started it...
    2nd pass
    I took off my intake/filter for this pass.
    I launched at 4k again with 7psi, and it bogged again...But i shifted at 7000rpm each gear, the car was on its way to a 12second run and i fucking grinded 4th gear...and the power steering belt mysterously dissapeared, hahaha, i guess it was too loose...
    I ran a 13.7 at 101

    Oh, and i am only running 15psi right now, and i had 2 gallons of VP C16 in the tank with a little more timing... The car feels incredible. I just need to set the 2set to 4500 and give that a try... and practice launching there.

    Oh, and if you notice on my 2nd pass, i gained 2 MPH on the 1/8 mile from taking off the air filter/intake tube, before i grinded 4th gear. If i didnt grind 4th gear mph would of been 112mph, and it probably would of been 12's. Too many cars to run again... I'll go back another day. I'm going to run it a few more times at 15psi before i raise it to 20psi. I want to get a perfect run with 15psi. then i'll go full boost afterwards...

    wow, 13.7 in an accord!
    im happy for u. my friend has an integra gsr with a Greddy kit and he usually runs 13.7 with slicks.

              atco is the fastest track in the country.
              Its damn near 0 elevation.
              South Jersey is flat all the way to the shore

                It will run 12's how it is right now, i just need to learn to drive stick better...

                  13.2 is a pretty good time. Reading your mods, do you not have a lsd? How does it feel with/without one?

                    stock H23 differential.
                    The 1st burnout i had no damn water and 1 wheel was spinning a lot faster then the other.
                    2nd burnout i had water and it worked fine...
                    Its ok for now, i'll probaby break it...

                      not bad for a baserun, how much timing are u running?

                      Assuming those traps are low for the amount of psi your pushing then you've still got a bit more tuning, yes? Seems like 280-300whp from the trap speed.

                        my friend saw u run at atco. he told he he saw an accord same gen as mine, did a lil indian dude talk to u. he ran his maxima that day.

                          yeah, i talked to him at the track...
                          I had a little issue with the car sunday... grinding noise from clutch...
                          took the trans out. found 2 of the flywheel bolts worked theyre way loose... Need to put new bolts in it and loctite the fuck out of them... will be back at the track next week...

                              i didn't mean anything bad, knowing that u ran 13.7 and missed 4th gear got me super excited because my friend runs his 13.7 with proper shifts. i was all stoked because im building a boosted accord specifically to take his vtec-turbo-gsr out because he kinda walks with an attitude being that he has the fastest car at our workplace. i would love to run a 13.2 on his a$$... then i could talk some mad $hit and steal his glory from him.
