From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

stock fuel pump and 390cc dsm injectors, turbo f22

Is it safe to run just the stock fuel pump for now using dsm automatic 390cc injectors. I'm running big 16g, stock boost (7-9psi), 31x12x3 fmic, 2.5 ic pipings, 2.5 cumstom exhaust system, pr4 chipped ecu.

I'm almost complete with the set up. I'm just working on my guages (boost, egt and wideband). The fuel pump is kinda hard to replace but I do have it though. I'm just getting lazy to install it after customizing everything for 2 weeks and finding out that I have to take the fuel tank down.

you should be fine running with it for a while, but i'd replace it, just to be on the safe side. but i duno, maybe someone that does know can clarify.

its only like a 2-3 hour job by urself. Do it over a full night and it won't be so devastating

if you were using a 14b at 8psi...id say mabye you would be ok for a little while. but since you want 9 on a 16g....its definitly not worth the risk. you should probably upgrade both the pump and the injectors to be 100% safe

What if he ran an in-line one with the stocker? Or he could just disable the stock one and run the in-line one only.

i guess I'm gonna have to install it before I get it running. I have the pump already. No sense on customising it to inline set up. Thanks
