Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    My turbo A/R

so after posting in the thread about how big turbos are, i got wondering what the A/R is on my turbo...it is an ihi rhb6 it is from a ISUZU MPR Truck 88-92, it says nowhere on it what the a/r is and i cannot find it anywhere on the internet...here is some info for those of you who know how to calculate A/r from figures...

The inlet is 2", outlet is 1.6" the wheel is about ~1.6" and the exhaust wheel is ~2.1"

here is what my flow maps look like:

dunno if i have the 406 or the 476

    please help

ok so i just found this about my turbo:

"its about the same size as a t3/t4. will even bolt up to a t3/t4 exhaust manifold. about 20psi or so? i had the same exact turbo on my 2000rs before i went sc. i ran 9 psi no probs and was quite quick."

so anyone debate this? Or know what the A/r is on a t3/t4?

the rhb6 was also used on the 85-87 thunderbird and the 90-93 ford probe so it's kindof hard to know which rhb6 your actually running (what year it was made that is) iHi is rather known for putting out some decent turbo's but running it to 20 psi would be insane. I'd say 14 tops, tops, I had a buddy with a rhb6 on his EF hatch ran it at 13 psi for a long long time without a prob.

the rhb6 only came on that truck, the rhb5 came on probes and thunderbirds, i had one of them on my car last year it is WAY smaller...

          thanks for the info tho
